The Crisis and Close of the Action at Waterloo, By An Eye-Witness. Dublin, Richard Milliken and Son, 1833. The only printing of this rare eye-witness account of the last hours of the battle. The author, an Irishman, George Gawler, fought as a Lieutenant in the 52nd Regiment. Mr Brocas, who was given this book by another member of the 52nd is one, can assume, the Dublin painter. Gawler became the second governor of South Australia. With folding map of Waterloo from 7 to half past 8 O'Clock.
